The lsraeli-palestinian conflict has finally came to destruction.

Why the conflict began?

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has claimed tens of thousands of lives and displaced many millions of people and has its roots in a colonial act carried out more than a century ago.

With Israel declaring war on the Gaza Strip after an unprecedented attack by the armed Palestinian group Hamas on Saturday, the world’s eyes are again sharply focused on what might come next

Hamas fighters have killed more than 800 Israelis in assaults on multiple towns in southern Israel. In response, Israel has launched a bombing campaign in the Gaza Strip, killing more than 500 Palestinians. It has mobilised troops along the Gaza border, apparently in preparation for a ground attack. And on Monday, it announced a “total blockade” of the Gaza Strip, stopping the supply of food, fuel and other essential commodities to the already besieged enclave in an act that under international law amounts to a war crime.

More to know:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to “crush and eliminate” Hamas. Even if that were possible, experts say Israel could come to regret it.

Hamas is deeply rooted in Palestinian society, with an army of fighters, a government in Gaza, and extensive social welfare programs. It has millions of supporters across Gaza, the occupied West Bank and Lebanon, as well as an exiled leadership. Founded in the late 1980s, it survived as an underground armed group for years while Israel was militarily occupying the entire Gaza Strip, before the 2005 withdrawal.

Reoccupying Gaza would leave Israel in charge of governing and providing basic services to 2.3 million Palestinians, while likely battling an insurgency. Removing Hamas from power and then pulling out would leave a vacuum that could be filled by even more radical groups.

“The understanding here in Israel is that there is no other alternative to a Hamas regime. This is the devil we know,” said Michael Milshtein, an Israeli expert on Palestinian affairs at Tel Aviv University.

Pray for our brothers and sisters!!

Why there a attack by Palestinians group Hamas on Israel?

Israel and Hamas are locked in a new cycle of escalating violence, after a surprise attack on Saturday involving aerial, sea and ground operations, initiated by the Palestinian group from the Gaza Strip. Israel has responded with a deadly bombardment of the blockaded coastal enclave.

What happened and when?

*Early on Saturday morning, the Palestinian armed group Hamas launched “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood” against Israel in the most serious escalation since their 11-day war in 2021.
*Hamas said it had fired 5,000 rockets, while Israel confirmed that the group’s fighters had entered its territory.
*Daniel Hagari, an Israeli army spokesperson, said that the group attacked from the land, sea and air.
*The first round of rockets was fired at 6:30am local time (03:30 GMT).
The Israeli army also said it launched “Operation Iron Swords” against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
*The early-morning attacks occurred on Simchat Torah, a holiday which falls towards the conclusion of the weeklong Jewish festival known as Sukkot, or the Feast of Tabernacles.

Where did the attacks take place?

*The rockets were fired as far north as Tel Aviv. Hamas also sent fighters into southern Israel.
*Israeli media said that gunmen had opened fire on passers-by in the town of Sderot, and footage circulating on social media appeared to show clashes in city streets as well as gunmen in jeeps roaming the countryside. One report claimed Hamas fighters had taken control of multiple Israeli civilian population centres, where residents were begging for help from their government.
*The Israeli army says dozens of fighter jets were carrying out attacks on Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip.
Gun battles are ongoing in several towns in southern Israel.

How many casualties in Israel and Palestine?

*The Palestinian health ministry in Gaza said that at least 370 people had been killed and nearly 2,000 wounded so far in Israeli attacks.
*The Israeli death toll due to Hamas attacks rose to at least 600 people, with more than 2,000 wounded, according to the latest reports by Israeli media.

Why did Hamas attack Israel?
*Hamas spokesperson Khaled Qadomi has told in the news report that the group’s military operation is in response to all the atrocities the Palestinians have faced over the decades.
*“We want the international community to stop atrocities in Gaza, against Palestinian people, our holy sites like Al-Aqsa. All these things are the reason behind starting this battle,” he said.
*“This is the day of the greatest battle to end the last occupation on Earth,” Mohammed Deif, the Hamas military commander said, adding that 5,000 rockets were launched.
*“Everyone who has a gun should take it out. The time has come,” Deif said, according to reports.
*Hamas called on “the resistance fighters in the West Bank” as well as “our Arab and Islamic nations” to join the battle, in a statement posted on Telegram.

What is the Israeli government saying?

*Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said his Security Cabinet has declared the country at war following the attack.
*The decision, announced on Sunday, formally authorises “the taking of significant military steps”, it said in a statement.
*“The war that was forced on the state of Israel in a murderous terrorist assault from the Gaza Strip began at 6:00 yesterday,” it said

What is the latest on the ground?

*Israel battered Palestinians in Gaza on Sunday, and in a sign that the conflict could spread beyond blockaded Gaza, Israel and Lebanon’s Iran-backed Hezbollah exchanged artillery and rocket fire.
*Hezbollah said it had launched guided rockets and artillery onto three posts in the Shebaa Farms “in solidarity” with the Palestinian people.
*Israel’s military also said one of its drones struck a Hezbollah post in the area of Har Dov, an area in Shebaa, and then fired a warning shot toward a number of “suspects” in the area.
*In southern Israel, Hamas gunmen were still fighting Israeli security forces 24 hours after the attack.
*Israel’s military, which faces questions over its failure to prevent the attack, said it was still fighting but had regained control of most infiltration points along security barriers.
*The UN agency for Palestinian Refugees, UNRWA, said over 20,000 people were sheltering in 44 of its schools around Gaza by Saturday evening

What are the international reactions so far?

*The Czech government has condemned Hamas for launching “terrorist attacks” on Prague’s traditional ally, Israel.
*The European Union’s foreign chief, Josep Borrell, expressed solidarity with Israel.
The French foreign ministry said France condemned the “terrorist attacks under way against Israel and its population” and that France expressed its full solidarity with Israel.
*The UK “unequivocally condemns” the surprise attack by Palestinian group Hamas on Israel on Saturday, Foreign Secretary James Cleverly said.

#Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he was “deeply shocked by the news of terrorist attacks in Israel.” and that India stands “in solidarity with Israel at this difficult hour”.
Egypt warned of “grave consequences” from an escalation in a statement from the foreign ministry carried by the state news agency on Saturday. It called for “exercising maximum restraint and avoiding exposing civilians to further danger”.

#Lebanese group Hezbollah issued a statement on Saturday saying it was closely following the situation in Gaza and was in “direct contact with the leadership of the Palestinian resistance”.
An adviser to Supreme Leader Ali Hosseini Khamenei said Iran supported the Palestinians’ attack, the semiofficial ISNA news site reported.

Attack on Pakistan, while celebrating Milad-un-Nabi.

A suspected suicide bomber blew himself up among a crowd of people celebrating the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday in southwestern Pakistan on Friday, killing at least 52 people and wounding nearly 70 others, authorities said, in one of the country’s deadliest attacks targeting civilians in months.

An open area near a mosque was left strewn with the shoes of the dead and wounded, TV footage and videos on social media showed. Bodies lay covered with bedsheets. Residents and rescuers were seen rushing the wounded to hospitals.

No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack in Mastung, a district of Baluchistan province. But suspicion is likely to fall on the militant Islamic State group’s regional affiliate, which has claimed previous deadly bombings around Pakistan. IS carried out an attack days earlier in the same area after one of its commanders was killed there.

On Friday, around 500 people had gathered for a procession from the mosque to celebrate the birth of the prophet, known as Mawlid an-Nabi. Similar events were held in communities across Pakistan, often including parades of children in traditional garb. The blast went off before the Mastung procession was to begin, while people were still coming to join, said one witness, Asadullah Bangulzai.

Bangulzai told The Associated Press said he was some distance away when the explosion occured and rushed to join other bystanders helping with the wounded.

“I had blood on my hands and clothes” from carrying wounded, he said. “I will never forget these painful moments … People were crying in pain.”

Among the wounded seen at hospital were a number of young boys, bloodied and wrapped in bandages, though the full number of children among the casualties was not immediately known. Some of the wounded were in a critical condition, government administrator Atta Ullah said.

Thirty bodies were taken to one hospital and 22 were counted at another, said Abdul Rasheed, the district health officer in Mastung. A senior police officer, Mohammad Nawaz, was among the dead, Ullah said. Officers said they suspect the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber.

Friday’s bombing came days after authorities asked police to remain on maximum alert, saying militants could target rallies for Mawlid an-Nabi.

The U.S. Embassy in Islamabad posted a condemnation of the attack on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Pakistani people deserve to gather and celebrate their faith without the fear of terror attacks,” it said, expressing condolences to families and promising to stand by Pakistan. Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi said such attacks “show terrorists have no other goal than to create division among Muslims,” according to a statement reported by state TV.

Also Friday, a blast ripped through a mosque located on the premises of a police station in Hangu, a district in the northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, killing at least five people and wounding seven, said Shah Raz Khan, a local police officer.

Khan said two suicide bombers approached the mud-brick mosque and while guards shot and killed one, the other managed to reach the mosque and set off his explosives. The mosque collapsed with about 40 people inside worshipping, most of them police officers, officials said. Rescuers were pulling people from the rubble, Khan said.

No one claimed responsibility for the attacks in Mastung and Hangu.

The Pakistani Taliban, the country’s main militant group, denied any role in either attack and denounced them. Known as Tehreek-e-Taliban, or TTP, the Pakistani Taliban has waged a campaign of violence that usually hits government or security targets, and it has repeatedly said it does not target places of worship or civilians.

The TTP is separate from the Afghan Taliban but closely allied to them and has increased its attacks since the group seized power in neighboring Afghanistan in August 2021.

Suspicion is more likely to fall on the Islamic State in Khorasan Province, as the IS affiliate in Afghanistan and Pakistan is known. It has been more ruthless in attacking civilians and places of worship – often Shiite Muslim mosques but also Sunni ones like that in Mastung.

On Sept. 14, IS set off a bomb targeting the convoy of a senior figure of a pro-Afghan Taliban political party as it passed through Mastung. The bomb wounded 11 people but the politician survived. The attack came days after police killed an IS commander in the town.

The most recent major IS attack came in July, when a suicide bomber killed at least 54 people at an election rally by the same pro-Taliban party in northwest Pakistan.

Pakistan’s President Arif Alvi condemned Friday’s attacks and asked authorities to provide all possible assistance to the wounded and the victims’ families.

In a statement, caretaker Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti called the Mastung bombing a “heinous act” to target people in the Milad-un-Nabi procession.

Also Friday, the military said two soldiers were killed in a shootout with Pakistani Taliban after insurgents tried to sneak into southwestern district of Zhob in Baluchistan province. Three militants were killed in the exchange, a military statement said.

The gas-rich southwestern Baluchistan province at the border of Afghanistan and Iran has been the site of a low-level insurgency by Baluch nationalists for more than two decades. Baluch nationalists initially wanted a share of provincial resources, but they later launched an insurgency calling for independence.

Pakistan has faced waves of militant violence over the years from multiple groups. In 2014, 147 people, mostly schoolchildren, were killed in a Taliban attack on an army-run school in the northwestern city of Peshawar.

In recent years, the Pakistani Taliban have emerged as the most powerful group. The group is suspected in this year’s deadliest bombing, in which more than 100 people were killed, in a Jan. 30 bombing at a mosque inside a high-security compound housing Peshawar police headquarters.

Remember, this approach provides a broad framework for revising your syllabus in one day. Adapt it to suit your specific subjects and learning style.

Prioritize Topics and Create a Study Plan :
Start by prioritizing topics based on their importance and weightage in the exam. Identify the sections that carry more marks or are more challenging for you. Create a study plan with dedicated time slots for each topic, ensuring that you cover the most critical areas first.

Break Down the Syllabus into Smaller Segments :
Divide the syllabus into smaller, manageable segments to make it easier to grasp and study efficiently. Focus on one segment at a time, thoroughly understanding the concepts before moving on to the next. This approach helps in better retention and prevents overwhelm.

Utilize Effective Study Techniques :
Opt for study techniques that maximize productivity in limited time. These may include active reading, summarizing key points, creating mind maps or flashcards for quick revision, and solving practice questions to reinforce understanding.

Utilize Short Study Sessions :
Divide your study time into short, focused sessions, followed by short breaks to maintain concentration and prevent fatigue. Aim for 25-30 minutes of intense studying followed by a 5-10 minute break to recharge.

Practice Time Management :
Efficient time management is crucial when completing the syllabus in one day. Set specific time limits for each topic or segment and stick to them. Avoid spending too much time on one section at the expense of others.

Revise and Review Regularly :
Allocate dedicated time for revision throughout the day. Regularly review previously covered topics to reinforce learning and retain information. Use concise notes, mnemonics, or visual aids to aid in quick recall.

Seek Clarity and Focus on Conceptual Understanding :
Rather than merely memorizing information, focus on understanding the underlying concepts. If you encounter any difficulties, refer to reliable study materials or seek guidance from mentors or fellow aspirants to clarify doubts.

Stay Calm and Manage Stress :
Stress can hinder productivity and comprehension. Practice relaxation techniques like deep breathing exercises or meditation to stay calm and focused. Ensure you get enough rest, eat nutritious meals, and stay hydrated.

Prioritize Important Topics and Skip Less Relevant Details :
Identify the key topics and concepts that carry more weightage in the exam. Prioritize studying these areas while being mindful of time constraints. If necessary, skip less relevant details that are unlikely to be extensively tested.

Believe in Yourself and Stay Positive :
Maintain a positive mindset throughout your study session. Believe in your abilities and approach the task with confidence. Avoid getting overwhelmed by the amount of syllabus and stay motivated with the realization that every bit of effort counts.

While completing the entire syllabus of a government exam in one day is challenging, it is not impossible with effective planning, focused studying, and strategic time management. Prioritize topics, break down the syllabus, utilize efficient study techniques, and regularly revise to optimize your preparation. Remember to stay calm, seek conceptual understanding, and maintain a positive mindset. Lastly, embrace the journey, knowing that your effort and dedication will contribute to your overall progress. Good luck with your studies and the upcoming government exam!

A good touch and a bad touch, Every girl should know.

In today’s time, news on child abuse, kidnaps, molestation, etc., is prevalent and a matter of concern. As a parent to a young child, you want to keep your child safe and protected. Accordingly, it’s essential to empower the children with the proper knowledge about good touch and bad touch before it’s too late.

It is imperative to create opportunities to talk to the children and discuss what a good touch is and what is not. Even though you may think that your child is too young to understand the difference between the good and bad touch and other such topics, but they are not, you can talk about these subjects with ease, so that they learn about them from an early age without getting scared. This blog will help you educate your children about the difference between good and bad touch.

TALK ABOUT GOOD TOUCH AND BAD TOUCH
Tell your kids about various kinds of touches. For example, good touch feels caring, like a pat on the head, back, or a bear hug. In comparison, a bad touch can hurt your body or feelings, such as pinching, hitting, or touching any private area. Let children know that it’s ok to say no if you don’t like any touch, even from a friend or a family member.

DON’T BE SHY

Being expressive regarding sexual matters is crucial, and though these topics might be sensitive to discuss, you are where your child gets their signs from. Explain them in an engaging way with examples of incidents that happened before.

TEACH THEM THE OWNERSHIP OF THEIR BODY
Empower them to voice up and say NO. Inculcate in them the right to be the boss of their own body. They have the choice to deny a handshake, a hug, or any physical touch if they don’t like it. Also, tell them not to allow anybody to click their pictures without permission.

STICK TO THE TERMINOLOGY
Parents sometimes use nicknames for sexual terms, which is inappropriate. Employing the appropriate terms for the body parts, such as the vagina, penis, and so on, makes these parts feel important. The right words will also be helpful for your child to express themselves accurately concerning their body.

TEACH THEM TO FIGHT BACK
Parents keep teaching their children to be soft, well-mannered, and polite around strangers. Instead, teach them to talk or retaliate when they don’t find anything right. Ask them to shout for help when stuck in any uncomfortable situation. Make sure your child is not alone while visiting an unknown place and is in good company who you trust wholeheartedly.

DON’T FORCE ANY KIND OF TOUCH
Ask your child before you hug or kiss them. Let them know that they have control over their body and no one has the right to touch it without their permission. Kids can be uncomfortable at different times for different reasons, so don’t force them to use their bodies in a way they don’t wish to. For example, instead of saying, go give a hug to your Aunt Jeffery, say give a handshake or a fist bump.

TEACH YOUR CHILD TO TRUST THEIR DECISION
Your child should not feel guilty if they refuse affection from anyone for any reason. Educate your daughter that her feelings and decisions are paramount when it comes to her own physical space. This will help her to trust her emotions with clarity.

KEEP THE CONVERSATION GOING
Parents can see a developmental shift in the conversation about body safety as the children grow up, are exposed to media and peers, and begin to understand more about their bodies and sexuality. So it is important to review these points frequently and welcome questions on sexuality.

CLOSING THOUGHTS
Parents have the responsibility to teach the kids to differentiate between good and bad things in the world. If you find symptoms such as doing poorly in school, looking dull or uninterested, bed wetting & thumb sucking suddenly, or any behavioral change in your kid, then talk with them. Keep calm and listen to your child.

“The college students were admitted to the hospital and while looking at the incident, we received information about the girl’s death today (Monday). We acted upon it and the authorities made other people in the house who had consumed food at the same shop and were suffering to get immediate treatment at the government hospital,” she said.

Uma said she had visited the eatery on Sunday along with officials of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to inspect and seal it. During the inspection, authorities destroyed raw materials, marinated chicken, and other items from the shop.

“We sealed the shop and no sale happened since yesterday. We checked their bills and it looked like they had purchased items like chicken recently. We went to the chicken shop as well from where they had been procuring chicken. We checked the freezer box and other areas, and there were no items like stale meat. However, as per the procedure, we have sent the sample from the shop to the analysis centre in Salem and are waiting for the results,” she said.

According to officials, 21 adults and three children are admitted to Namakkal Government Medical College and Hospital, three to the Maharaja Specialty Hospital, four adults and two children to the Thangam Hospital, and one is in Kannagi Hospital.

A student, who had eaten at the Namakkal eatery and went to Tiruchirapalli, is now admitted to a hospital there with complaints of dysentery. Besides these, six people are receiving treatment at the C M Speciality Hospital and two people are admitted to the Bharathi Hospital.

The collector said he had convened a meeting with representatives of all private hospitals and asked them to immediately inform authorities if they came across any such cases and not to discharge any patient without proper treatment. She also said if any patient cannot bear the medical expenses, they should be handed to government hospitals for further treatment.

Dr K Shanta Arulmozhi, Dean, Namakkal Medical College and Hospital, told reporters that not everyone who was admitted to the hospital had shawarma and some of them had eaten fish and mushrooms. The only common factor was that all of them had eaten food from the same restaurant.

Meanwhile, the district administration has banned the preparation and sale of shawarma and grilled chicken temporarily. The FSSAI has been directed to inspect restaurants across the district for quality checks and submit a report.

The Guarantee schemes provided by Congress Government in Karnataka.

Bringing an end to the speculation over the implementation of pre-poll ‘guarantees ‘ in the Congress manifesto, the State Cabinet on Friday decided to implement all five guarantees during this financial year, starting with Shakti — the scheme for free travel for women — that will be launched on June 11.

The Congress government was under pressure from the Opposition parties over the implementation of its guarantees that had received in-principle approval from the first cabinet on May 19, the day the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah took oath of office along with nine Cabinet Ministers, including the Deputy Chief Minister.

The schemes namely, Gruha Jyothi, Gruha Lakshmi, Anna Bhagya, Shakti, and Yuvanidhi, which were part of Congress manifesto, was approved by Siddaramaiah Cabinet

As per the post-Cabinet meeting announcement by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Friday (June 2), while Shakti will be launched on June 11, the Anna Bhagya scheme of 10 kgs free foodgrain per head for BPL and Antyodaya card holders families and the Gruha Jyothi scheme of 200 units of free power will be launched on July 1. While the window of registration for ₹2,000 monthly incentive under Gruha Lakshmi will be launched on June 15, the government will start transferring the money from August 15 on the occasion of Independence Day. Though broader contours of Yuva Nidhi, the unemployment benefits were announced, no time frame has been fixed for application.

“All the five guarantees will be implemented this financial year. We will reach our guarantees to persons of all castes, communities and linguistic groups in Karnataka,” Mr. Siddaramaiah said in a media briefing on Friday. He was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister and KPCC president D.K. Shivakumar along with a host of Cabinet colleagues.

The Karnataka Chief Minister said, “The government has taken utmost care to avoid misuse of the facilities being extended and the misuse of funds while implementing these five guarantees for the benefit of the poor and middle class.”

When his attention was drawn towards criticism from the Opposition over the delay in implementing guarantees, Mr. Siddaramaiah said, “We implemented 158 promises out of 165 made in the previous term. The BJP did not honour even half of 600 promises made. What moral right do they have to ask?”

Asked about the total expenditure for implementing the five ‘guarantees’, the Chief Minister was non-committal, and said, “I will speak about the details and cost later.”

Also the university administration is duty bound to address the concerns raised by students,” the spokesperson said.

“Girl students were thrashed brutally for no fault of theirs. This is unacceptable and should be condemned by all,” he said, demanding a thorough and fast track investigation by the Punjab government.

Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) has written to Union Minister for Health and Medical Education Mansukh Mandaviya and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann over transfer of Kashmiri students enrolled in various paramedical courses from DBU Punjab to Sardar Lal Singh College without their consent.

“DBU has transferred approximately 70 Kashmiri students enrolled in various paramedical courses to Sardar Lal Singh College without their consent or will. This unilateral move by the university has been ongoing since last year when around 500 students from Jammu and Kashmir, pursuing various paramedical courses at DBU found themselves caught in a situation beyond their control,” National Convenor JKSA, Nasir Khuehami said in a statement.

“It has come to light that DBU, Punjab, admitted 140 students, far exceeding the approved intake capacity, which ranges from 40 to 60 students,” he said.
