The message threatening to blow up the Ram Temple in Uttarpradesh.

The messages threatening to blow up the Ram Temple, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were posted by the men after instructions from one Devendra Tewari.

The accused were identified as Tahar Singh and Om Prakash Mishra, both residents of Gonda district, who had created fake email addresses to send the threatening messages.

Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force has arrested two men for allegedly threatening to blow up the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and STF ADG Amitabh Yash on social media by using fake IDs.

The accused were identified as Tahar Singh and Om Prakash Mishra, both residents of Gonda district, who had created fake email addresses to send the threatening messages. As per the STF, Singh and Mishra did this on instructions from one Devendra Tewari, who had told them this would help him get “political gain”.

Tewari has several cases against him lodged in Lucknow and is absconding, said an STF official. “We will nab him soon. He was behind this whole episode. In the past, he has claimed threats to his life and was given a gunner for his security,” said the official.

In a statement, the STF said the DGP headquarters informed the STF on December 27 last year that a handle on X, (@iDevendraOffice), had posted that a man called Zubair Khan, belonging to the terror organisation ISI, had threatened to blow up the Ram Temple, Adityanath, and Yash through an email. “After the information was received, an STF team started investigating the case,” said the statement.

“Tahar Singh and Om Prakash Mishra worked at the office. While Singh worked as a social media handler, Mishra was deployed as a personal secretary. Mishra was also doing a two-year diploma course from the same college,” it added.

It further said, “On instruction from Devendra Tewari, Tahar Singh had created the fake email addresses and had shared the password with Om Prakash Mishra through WhatsApp. Two phones were also purchased from a shop in Naka Hindola in Lucknow, which were used to share the threat messages”.

“The threat messages were sent on November 19 and December 27, and Devendra Tewari shared the messages from his Twitter (X) account. After the emails were sent, the two mobile phones were burnt and destroyed by Tewari. The WiFi used for sending the emails was traced back to Tewari’s office.”

The statement said Tewari had told the accused that through these emails, “he would get highlighted on social media, his security would be increased and he would make big political gains”.

The accused have been booked under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 506 (criminal intimidation), 507 (Criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication), 153-A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence), 420 (cheating), 468 (forgery for purpose of cheating), 471 (using as genuine a forged document), 201 (Causing disappearance of evidence of offence), and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) and those under the Information Technology Act.

Recent Health Condition of Shreyas Talpade.

Actor Shreyas Talpade suffer from heart attack.

Shreyas Talpade health update: Actor Shreyas Talpade was rushed to the hospital on Thursday evening after he showed symptoms of a heart attack. The 47-year-old was shooting for his upcoming film ‘Welcome To The Jungle‘ when he started feeling uneasy on the sets and was taken to the hospital. Shreyas was admitted to the Bellevue Hospital in Mumbai where he’s currently being treated.

The actor had to undergo angioplasty after doctors confirmed that he indeed suffered a heart attack on the sets of his film. He started shooting for Firoz A Nadiadwala’s film on Wednesday with the rest of the starcast including Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawl, Tusshar Kapoor, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, Krushna Abhishek and others. Shreyas is now doing better and hasn’t reportedly come out of the ICU yet. The actor will be taking a break from the movies to recover well only to return as fitter and more ready to make the audience laugh.

As a cardiologist, I often encounter cases that challenge common perceptions about heart health. The recent incident involving Shreyas Talpade, a seemingly healthy individual at the age of 47, who suffered a heart attack, brings to light the often misunderstood reality of cardiovascular health in younger adults,” says Dr. Ajay Kaul, Chairman – Cardiac Sciences, Fortis Hospital, Noida.

“One of the biggest misconceptions is that heart attacks only afflict older individuals or those with identifiable risk factors. However, age doesn’t provide immunity from heart issues. While lifestyle choices and genetics play a crucial role in heart health, there are several lesser-known factors that contribute to early heart attacks,” says Dr. Kaul and shares the common risk factors of this life-threatening health condition.

“In conclusion, while a heart attack at a young age might seem unexpected, understanding the underlying factors and taking proactive steps towards a healthier lifestyle and ongoing medical care are pivotal in preventing future cardiac events. Remember, it’s never too early to prioritize heart health,” the expert says.

We pray for the speedy recovery.

Zara Controversial AD Campaign, Visit website to know more.

Spanish fashion giant Zara has stirred up controversy following its latest advertisement campaign, with several social media users calling out its alleged similarities with the destruction in Gaza.

As boycott calls for the brand trend on X, several Palestine supporters accused the campaign of “celebrating the demolition of Gaza” amidst the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.

Here’s all you need to know about the controversy:

ZARA’S CONTROVERSIAL AD CAMPAIGN

Zara’s now-controversial advertisement campaign called ‘The Jacket’ is part of the brand’s Atelier series, which is aimed at promoting a new collection of jackets.

The campaign features model Kristen McMenamy standing among rubble, carrying a mannequin wrapped in white cloth over her shoulders. The pictures shared by the brand for the campaign also feature a pine box, similar to a Muslim coffin, and some other mannequins with missing limbs.

Have a look:

A picture posted by Zara for the campaign that has now been deleted

Netizens called out the shocking resemblance of the broken white concrete to the destroyed buildings in Gaza and the mannequins to the shrouded bodies of victims of Israel’s indiscriminate war on Gaza, which has reportedly killed over 18,000 people so far, including thousands of children and women.

An X user also pointed out that one of the broken plasterboards in the background of the images is shaped like the map of Palestine, and the powdery white substance used resembles Israel’s usage of white phosphorus in Gaza.

They wrote, “Disgusting editorial campaign by Zara was posted today featuring white shrouded bodies, limbless mannequins, broken concrete, a pine box similar to Muslim coffins, powdery substance some say is like white phosphorus + broken drywall shaped like an upside down Palestine map!”

Have a look:

As the promotional images went viral over the weekend, several Palestine supporters urged people to boycott Zara, outraged by the brand’s campaign. Consequently, Zara deleted all posts containing the objectionable images from its social media platforms but it continued to circulate the new ones till 8 December.

The fashion retailer is yet to issue a statement on the controversy.

BOYCOTT CALLS FOR ZARA TREND ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Zara’s promotional campaign has drawn over 110,000 boycott calls on X (formerly Twitter) since the fashion giant first shared the controversial images on social media.

Sharing some pictures from the campaign, Palestinian artist Hazem Harb wrote on Instagram, “There is a sinister depravity in the commercial mind that produced this ad, while we are living a real time genocide. There is no way this is not intentional. Especially when we know of Zara’s support for the Zionists. Using death and destruction as a backdrop for fashion is beyond sinister, its complicity and should outrage us as consumers. Boycott Zara.”

Have a look at his post here:

Another user wrote on X, “@ZARA’s new marketing campaign uses designs inspired by the ongoing genocide in Gaza to promote a new collection. coffins, destruction, corpses, and glorifying killing. Zara faced boycott calls a year ago after its hosted their local agent the Israeli leader with a thirst for killing Palestinians and Arabs, Itamar Ben Gvir, at an election event.”

Have a look at some other reactions here:

Amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, several Palestinian groups also urged the boycott of some of the biggest multinational companies, including McDonald’s, Starbucks, Puma, Google, Disney, and Amazon, as part of their BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) movement.

ZARA’S REACTION TO THE CONTROVERSY:

After receiving strong backlash against their campaign, Zara issued an official statement on social media on 12 December. The fashion retailer also took down all the pictures related to the campaign from their social media handles.

The statement read, “After listening to comments regarding the latest Zara Atelier campaign ‘The Jacket’, we would like to share the following with our customers: The campaign, that was conceived in July and photographed in September presents a series of images of unfinished sculptures in a sculptor’s studio and was created with the sole purpose of showcasing craftmade garments in an artistic context.”

“Unfortunately, some customers felt offended by these images, which have now been removed, and saw in them something far from what was intended when they were created. Zara regrets that misunderstanding and we reaffirm our deep respect towards everyone,” it further added.

The United States has given so-called ‘bunker buster’ bombs to Israel for it’s war on Gaza.

The United States has given so-called ‘bunker buster’ bombs and an array of other munitions to Israel for its war on Gaza, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.

Washington has transferred 100 BLU-109 bombs to Israel that are meant to penetrate hardened structures before exploding, the report said, citing unnamed US officials.

The bomb carries a warhead weighing more than 900 kilogrammes (19,80 pounds) and has previously been used by the US in conflicts including the war in Afghanistan.

It is not the only type of ammunition provided by the US to Israel for the war on the besieged enclave, which has so far killed more than 15,000 Palestinians, including at least 6,150 children. The October 7 Hamas attack on Israel that started the war killed 1,200 people.

Unlike the regular arms updates by the US about the war in Ukraine, the Pentagon has remained mostly silent on its level of weapons support for Israel amid international condemnation of Israeli military operations in Gaza.

The WSJ report said a surge of US arms to Israel since the start of the war has included 15,000 bombs and 57,000 155mm artillery shells that have primarily been carried on C-17 military cargo plane

Washington has also sent more than 5,400 Mk84 bombs, about 1,000 GBU-39 small-diameter bombs, and approximately 3,000 JDAMs, a guidance kit that turns unguided bombs into precision-guided munitions, it said.

This is on top of the billions of dollars Israel receives each year in US financial support for its military operations.

According to the WSJ, large bombs made by the US have been used in some of the deadliest Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, including a strike that levelled an apartment block in the Jabalia refugee camp, killing more than 100 people. Israel said the attack was justified as it killed a Hamas leader.

Israel’s intense aerial bombing of Gaza restarted shortly after the end of a weeklong truce on Friday that saw dozens of captives held in Gaza exchanged for Palestinians held in Israeli prisons. Many dozens of Palestinians have already been killed less than 24 hours after the strikes resumed.

The Israeli army, which has repeatedly been telling Palestinians to evacuate northern Gaza amid its ground operations, said on Saturday that parts of southern Gaza are also a battle zone now. People on the ground and rights groups have repeatedly said there is no safe place in Gaza.

Questioning in Congress’

Al Jazeera’s Heidi Zhou-Castro said the report on the delivery of heavy-duty penetration bombs to Israel has raised new questions about continued US arms transfers to the country.

“These are major bombs that the US has used in the past in its wars in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria, but mainly in open areas … Now Israel is using these bombs in a very different environment in Gaza, on a densely populated civilian population,” Zhou-Castro said.

“Many people are now questioning in Congress whether continuing to give these ‘bunker bombs’ is a good idea and also calling for more transparency,” she said.

The penetration bombs could theoretically be used to target the tunnels that Hamas uses to move around personnel and munitions. However, the tunnels are located under a densely populated urban area, which would mean using the bombs would lead to many more civilian casualties.

The US has fully backed the Israeli war efforts in the face of growing international pressure for a total ceasefire. Washington has repeatedly said it has asked Israel to try to limit civilian casualties, even as it lay siege to Gaza’s main hospitals.

Shocking truths about female feticide scam in Karnataka.

Bengaluru:- Some shocking truths have emerged in the investigation of female feticide scam in Karnataka. Police said the arrested head nurse Manjula has revealed that the 12-week-old fetuses were thrown into the dustbin along with medical waste. “He had also claimed that the 6-month-old fetus was also aborted and the bodies were dumped in the Cauvery river,” police said on Saturday.

Manjula worked at Matha Hospital in Mysore, where the gang performed abortions. He told the police, “After being taken out of the womb, the 6-month-old fetuses lived for five to 10 minutes. I would wrap them in a paper and give them to Nisar (the accused) to ensure that no evidence remained and he would throw them in the Cauvery river.”

Police said that the accused had been undergoing abortion for six months. He said that since they did not have advanced scanning machines, they were sometimes able to determine the sex of the fetus when it was six months old. Police said that whenever there was a delay in identifying the gender, a cesarean operation was performed to take out the female fetus.

related news
The Karnataka government had handed over the investigation of the female feticide scam to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). The investigation into the feticide scam that recently broke out in Bengaluru has revealed shockingly that the accused has so far aborted 3,000 female foetuses.

Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayanand had said that investigation has revealed that the accused has conducted 3,000 abortions so far and 242 female fetuses have been killed in the last three months. The accused had targeted 1,000 abortions per year to make money, as they charged between Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000 per pregnancy termination.

The scam came to light when Byappanahalli police tried to stop a suspiciously moving vehicle on October 15. The driver of the vehicle did not stop and was chased and caught. During interrogation, the accused revealed about the abortion racket. Police have so far arrested nine people, including two doctors and three lab technicians, for their involvement in this heinous activity.

The investigation also revealed that sex determination tests were conducted at a jaggery production unit in Mandya district, where the accused had set up a laboratory and related facilities, and abortions were performed at Matha Hospital in Mysore.

68 Schools received bomb threats in Bengaluru.

The bomb threats received by 68 schools in and around Bengaluru on December 1 were sent from multiple variations of email IDs registered with at least two service providers and carried multiple time stamps, the preliminary investigations by the police show.

The Bengaluru police have sought information from the email service providers whose servers were used to send the threat emails to these Bengaluru schools. They are looking at whether the threats are a part of similar incidents reported from different parts of the world including some linked to social media dares.

The police investigations have revealed that the emails were sent with the khariijites@beeble.com, khharijites@beeble.com, kharijittes@beeble.com, khariijites@topmail.com email IDs. They were sent to the general mail IDs of the schools that are in the public domain between 5.45 am to 7 am on December 1. One of the earliest time stamps in the emails is 5.48 am.

“The mail servers that were used to send the threat emails were accessed using masked virtual private networks,” a police source said

“Unlike the emails sent in 2022, the current emails seem to have a more serious tone and stand. We are viewing the case in a serious manner this time,” added the source

In April 2022, as many as 16 schools in Bengaluru had received bomb threats from mail IDs – including baronsmasarfm@gmail.com. The investigations in the cases led to a 16-year-old in Tamil Nadu who had created a code for sending bulk emails. The probe was closed on account of the suspect being a juvenile.

The police have constituted a special team under an additional commissioner of police consisting of cybercrime policemen to investigate the bomb threats received at schools last week.

As many as four First Information reports (FIRs) have been registered about the bomb threats at police stations in and around Bengaluru after the initial filing of non-cognizable reports. The FIRs have so far been registered on complaints by the Delhi Public School, Bangalore West, the Oakridge International School, the Ebenezer International School, and the Bishop Cottons Boys School.

The FIRs have been filed under sections 66 C and 66 D of the Information Technology Act, 2008, and for criminal intimidation and malicious acts to outrage religious feelings under sections 506 and 295A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The police have not invoked Section 66 F of the Information Technology Act which covers cyber terrorism in the FIRs on account of the hoax nature of the bomb threats, police sources said.

There have been incidents of mass threat emails being sent to schools in Northeastern Europe—Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia—and even in the US and Poland in recent months.

Did actor Akshay Kumar express his support to Palestine?

A conflict is ongoing between Israel and various Palestinian groups, including Hamas. Both sides have been launching missiles, leading to the tragic loss of thousands of lives. Amidst this Israel-Hamas conflict, a concerning trend of fake and misleading videos is spreading on social media. We also came across one such which falsely claims that Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is expressing support for Palestine. However, when we fact-checked this video, it turned out to be edited and misleading.

What is going viral?
Many such videos are going viral on Facebook. Among these, we came across a video posted by a Facebook user named Syed Juead. It is a reel in which Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is shown, and the caption reads, “Akshay Kumar supports Palestine.”

In this video, flags of Pakistan, Palestine, and India are displayed, along with the text, “Deut with me and say free Palestine.” Furthermore, in the video, Akshay Kumar’s voice is heard saying, “Akshay loves Palestine… You should duet with me, and everyone should say ‘Free Palestine’.” However, there is suspicion regarding the authenticity of Akshay Kumar’s voice, lip-syncing, and accent in the video, suggesting that his voice may have been dubbed or manipulated in the video.

India TV did fact check
When we watched this video, we began to have doubts about the authenticity of the voice and Akshay Kumar’s lip-syncing in the video. To address these concerns, we initiated a Google search using relevant keywords to investigate whether Akshay Kumar had made any statements about the Israel-Palestine conflict. During our search, we came across a news report from India TV which was published on October 10, 2023.

As per India TV’s news report, Akshay Kumar expressed his views on the Israel-Palestine conflict during an interview. He mentioned that any kind of terrorism is unacceptable, and he found the ongoing events deeply troubling. Akshay expressed hope for a resolution to the situation, saying it was all very sorrowful. He also strongly disapproved of violence against children and women, emphasising his prayers for a quick return to peace and normalcy. “Any form of terrorism is wrong, and what is happening is very distressing. I hope everything will be fine. It’s all very saddening,” he said. Akshay further stated, “I strongly condemn any form of violence against children or women. I pray for a swift return to normalcy.”

Since the viral video on Facebook is presented in the form of a reel, we decided to investigate the actual reel by checking Akshay Kumar’s Instagram handle. When we explored Akshay’s Instagram handle, we found a video that had been shared on August 9. Upon viewing this video, we observed Akshay Kumar promoting his fashion brand alongside his film OMG-2. In the video, he talks about offering coupons for his brand. Nowhere in this entire video did Akshay Kumar discuss anything related to Israel or Palestine.

Translation and paraphrase: Since the viral video on Facebook appears to be in the form of a reel, we took it upon ourselves to search for the original reel on Akshay Kumar’s Instagram handle. When we examined Akshay’s Instagram profile, we discovered a video posted on August 9th. After watching this video, we observed Akshay Kumar promoting his fashion brand alongside his upcoming film OMG-2. In the video, he mentioned providing coupons for his brand. Importantly, at no point in this video did Akshay Kumar make any remarks regarding Israel or Palestine.

What came out in the fact check?
Following a thorough fact-check of the viral video, it’s clear that Akshay Kumar did not endorse Palestine. The viral video was created by cropping content from another one of Akshay’s videos, and a fabricated voice was incorporated using editing software.
